Month: December 2016
Igloo // December Design Series No. 9
Stocking // December Design Series No. 8
‘Mallows // December Design Series No. 5
Work has magically become so much more enjoyable after we discovered we could make s’mores in the toaster oven. No. 5 in my December design series.
Pine Needles // December Design Series No. 4
Pine needles… the best to smell, but the worst to clean up, amirite?
Super simple representation of the quintessential winter smell.
Brown Bear // December Design Series No. 3
Just because bears are my favorite. A definite must in any design series. I loved getting to think just about the simple shape and what was needed for it to be recognizable.
Red Plaid // December Design Series No. 2
I’ve been wanting to play with pattern design more for a while now so what’s perfect other than a red plaid for the late-fall/early-winter season. I’m wishing I had this as a blanket scarf right now to keep me cozy.
Trees // December Design Series No. 1
It’s been awhile since I’ve been posting anything consistently. There’s been a lot going on the last few months with starting to work full time doing design. The type of design work I do during the day is very different than my typical design style and the type of design I like to do for fun so I thought I’d jump right back in there and start doing some more work just for myself.
This was no. 1 in my December design series where I’ll be creating a new icon/illustration every day in December. Most are going to be winter/holiday themed, but I’m also not going to restrict myself to just that 🙂
